Fix for Adobe Dreamweaver.. crashes when selecting objects

I just had the following issue with my Adobe Dreamwever CS3 crashing whenever I select an object in the design view. It could be an image, form select menu, etc. I restarted the pc and it had no effect.

This was the error I had in my event viewer.

Faulting application dreamweaver.exe, version 9.0.0.3481, faulting module dreamweaver.exe, version 9.0.0.3481, fault address 0x002dab57.

This is the second error message. Probably not as specific to this issue.

Hanging application Dreamweaver.exe, version 9.0.0.3481, hang module hungapp, version 0.0.0.0, hang address 0x00000000.

I did some research and found that Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 crashes when working with certain PHP or ASP files in Code view or Design view after the clock goes back one hour, when Daylight Savings Time ends. The crashes only occur when selecting certain lines in Code view, or selecting certain objects in Design view.

Couple of notes:

I chose to rename the dat file rather than deleting it.
Also, even though my system was set to show hidden/system files it did not show the file I was looking for. You may have the same issue just do a file search for the file name "WinFileCache-AD76BB20.dat" if that happens for you.
